On November 10-12, in Krasnodar, under the aegis of the Russian Academy of Engineering, there has been held an International Scientific-Practical Conference “Sustainable development, environmentally safe technologies, and equipment for processing food agricultural raw materials, import substitution”. During the plenary session, the participants listened and discussed the reports:

Sergeev Valeri Nikolaevich, Doctor in Technical Sciences, President of the Academy of Food Safety (Moscow) “Russia and food safety”;

Kasianov Gennadi Ivanovich, Doctor in Technical Sciences, Corresponding member of RAE (Krasnodar) “Perspective technologies for processing of food raw materials”;

Rosliakov Yury Fedorovich, Doctor of Technical Sciences (Krasnodar) “Approving a bread law”;

Berezhnoy Sergey Borisovich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Full member of RAE (Krasnodar), “Design of mechanical system combining advantages of chain-drives and gears in the drives of food-processing equipment”;

Latin Nikolay Nikolaevich, president of Company “Kompaniya Karavan”, “Address to the heads of processing enterprises on use of natural food additives”.

In the conference took part scientists and specialists from Russia, Abkhazia, Burundi, Egypt, Ukraine, and Tajikistan. 6 sessions of the Conference included presentation of 83 reports.

The conference was concluded with enacting resolution with recommendations on development and implementation of environmental safety technologies and equipment for processing agricultural raw materials. Conference proceedings were published including papers by 172 authors.
