We would like to inform you about the events held in the business life of the FBA EAC in September 2020:
In September 2020 the preparation of the new issue of the magazine «Eurasian Financial and Economic Herald» continued. Number 11 of the magazine will be published in October 2020.

On September 2, 2020 the second meeting of the Financial Markets Advisory Committee for 2020 was held. The meeting was attended by O. Berezovoy, General Director of FBA EAC. On September 3, 2020 the II Congress of the Association of Banks of Russia (XXXVIII General Meeting of the Association of Banks of Russia) started its work. The Association’s work in 2019 was recognized as satisfactory, «The main activities of the Association of Banks of Russia for 2020-2022» was approved, the Chairman of the Council of the Association A. Aksakov and the President of the Association G. Luntovsky were re-elected for a new term. The Congress was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC, Executive Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs A. On 3 September, 2020 was signed an agreement on cooperation in the construction of a mining and metallurgical complex and related infrastructure for the national mining cluster being created in the Russian Arctic zone. The agreement was signed by V. Uiba, Acting Head of the Republic of Komi, A. Kalashnikov, Director of the Federal Service for Financial Markets, and the management of the RUSSIAN TITAN RESOURCES Group represented by A. Tkachuk, Member of the Executive Board of the RUIE, President of the FBA EAC, and PhD A. Novikova, First Deputy Chairman of the RUIE Commission for the DIC. On 8 September, 2020 the Association’s management held a business meeting with the Heads of the FBA EAC Representative offices. The meeting was held via video conference. It was attended by 15 Heads of Representative offices located in Europe, Asia and West Africa. On September 10, 2020 was held the first of the planned B2B meeting of the FBA EAC for members interested in establishing international business contacts. The meeting was held via video conference.
The theme of the meeting was amber, its production, processing, use and promotion in the Euro-Asian markets. Participants of the XXI jewellery exhibition «Amber Baltic», which was held these days in Kaliningrad at the Baltic Expo Exhibition Centre, showed potential partners from Italy, India, Armenia, Korea and Africa the opportunities of the Kaliningrad amber industry, their products and technologies. The participants of the meeting highly appreciated its results, and confirmed the perspective and importance of this type of interaction in the B2B format. On September 15, 2020 the XIII Assembly of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs took place. The meeting was attended by O. Berezovoy, General Director of the FBA EAC.
On September 21, 2020 Business Place «Architecture, basic parameters and operating conditions of the FBA EAC Digital Belt project portal» was approved. The «Digital Belt» project was approved as a priority task of the FBA EAC. A. Lisitsyn was appointed as Project Manager.

In the near future the following events will take place in the life of the FBA EAC:
On October 7, 2020 the second session of the Financial Forum will be held within the framework of Russian Business Weeks. The session will be held in the format of a video conference. Theme of the session: «Financial and Banking System of Russia: overcoming the Crisis».
On October 8, 2020 at 11.00 a.m. will be held an online presentation of a complex software tool (CPS) «Audit XP Customs», allowing automatic customs verification by audit methods. Representatives of the EAEC Customs administrations and business are invited to participate. On October 23, 2020 the International Banking Council (IBC) will meet on the following topic: «Digitalization as a basic requirement for the development of a modern financial and banking system in the context of overcoming the pandemic. Bank development strategy in the post-crisis period». The meeting is organized by the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan. The meeting will be held in the format of a video conference.
In October 2020 meetings for Association members interested in establishing international business contacts in the B2B format will continue in the video conference mode. The next meeting will take place in the second half of October 2020. The date and theme of the meeting will be announced additionally.
In the second half of October 2020 a presentation of the Digital Platform for Euro-Asian Cooperation «Digital Belt» Project is planned. The date of the presentation will be announced additionally.
In October 2020 the filling of the «Business» section of the FBA EAC website will continue. Please note that this section contains information on business proposals of the FBA EAC members which is publicly available for a wide range of users.

In November 2020 competition for non-professional photographers ‘World through the Eyes of the Photographer’ will be summed up.
