Innovative development of the Academician of the Russian Engineering Academy, head of the chair “Fundamentals of Designing Machines” of the Don State Technical University Miroshnichenko I. P. and Corresponding Member of the Russian Engineering Academy, the chief research fellow of the Southern Federal University Parinov I. A. was awarded the Gold Medal of the 45th International Exhibition of Inventions “Inventions Geneva”.
From March 29 to April 2, 2017, the 45th International Exhibition of Inventions “Inventions Geneva” was held in Geneva (Switzerland) under the patronage of the Government of the Swiss Confederation, the National Council of the country and the Governing Council of Geneva, as well as the International Organization of Intellectual Property (WIPO), at which over 1000 inventions of 720 exhibitors from 40 countries of the world were presented.
The most representative and substantial expositions for the exhibition were prepared by Russia, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Iran, China.
The International Exhibition of Inventions “Inventions Geneva” is one of the most authoritative and prestigious innovative sites in the world, is aimed at promoting the development of the intellectual property market, the introduction of innovations in production and the development of contacts between developers and investors.
The Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation successfully organized and presented the Russian exposition at the exhibition.
According to the results of the International Jury of the exhibition, which consists of 82 leading scientists and experts in Europe, the innovative development “Interference Device for Contactless Measurement of Small Spatial Displacements”, created by the Academician of the Russian Engineering Academy, head of the chair “Basics of Designing Machines” of the Don State Technical University Igor P. Miroshnichenko and Corresponding Member of the Russian Engineering Academy, the chief research fellow of the I. I. Vorovich Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences, Southern Federal University Ivan. A. Parinov, was highlighted by the experts of the International Jury for the fundamentals and originality of solving the problem for diagnostic state and investigation of the properties of new materials and awarded the Gold Medal of the Exhibition.
Participation in the exhibition contributed to expanding business contacts with investors from European countries, strengthening mutually beneficial partnership relations between Russian scientists and representatives of foreign industrial companies.
