On February 18, 2026, there was held the General (Reporting and Election) Meeting of the International Public Organization “International Academy of Engineering”
On 18 February 2026, in Moscow there was held the General Reporting and Election Meeting of the International Public Organization “International Academy of Engineering” (IAE). The General Meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, with both in‑person and online participation. The meeting was attended by Full Members (academicians) and Corresponding Members of the International Academy of Engineering from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries and regions.
The Chair of the Credentials Committee, Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Engineering, Academic Secretary of the RAE “Nuclear Power Engineering” Section, IAE Academician Aleksandr Ivanovich Malakhov informed the participants of the General Meeting of the International Public Organization “International Academy of Engineering” that the Credentials Committee confirms the full powers of the Academy Members present at the General Meeting, as provided by the Charter of the International Public Organization “International Academy of Engineering,” with regard to decision‑making and voting on the items on the agenda of the General Meeting. A quorum has been established. The General Meeting has the right to decide on matters related to the activities of the International Academy of Engineering in accordance with the Charter of the Academy. The participants of the General Meeting approved the report of the Credentials Committee.
Boris Vladimirovich Gusev, President of the International Public Organization “International Academy of Engineering” made a report on the results of the Academy’s work for 2021 – 2025. The report summarizes the activities of the Academy Members for 2021-2025 in 30 areas of engineering, including power engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, nanotechnology, robotization, transport and ecology.
The following speakers addressed the discussion of the IAE President B.V. Gusev’s summary report on the Academy’s activities for the period 2021–2025:
– On the publication of “Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Engineering” No. 1, 2026 for the 90th Anniversary of the President of the International and Russian Academies of Engineering, IAE and RAE Academician, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Gusev Boris Vladimirovich (Speaker: First Vice President and Chief Scientific Secretary of the International and Russian Academies of Engineering, IAE Academician Leonid Alekseevich Ivanov);
– On preparations for the XV International Scientific Forum “Perspective Tasks of Engineering Science” (Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, December 1-3, 2026) (Speaker: First Vice President and Chief Scientific Secretary of the International and Russian Academies of Engineering, IAE Academician Leonid Alekseevich Ivanov);
– The main results of the work of the Azerbaijan Academy of Engineering for 2021-2025 (Speaker: Member of IAE Presidential Council, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Academy of Engineering, IAE Academician Janahmedov Ahad Khanahmed Ogly);
– On engineering education and popularization of science on the example of the work of the IAE Representative Office in the Republic of Belarus (Speaker: Member of IAE Presidential Council, Head of the IAE Representative Office in the Republic of Belarus, IAE Academician Tanin Leonid Viktorovich);
– On the creation of new technologies and materials in the automotive industry (Speaker: Head of the IAE Representative Office in Togliatti, Advisor to the General Director of the State Research Center “TsNIIchermet named after I.P. Bardin,” IAE Academician Tikhonov Arkady Konstantinovich);
– On the activities of the Engineering Academy of the Republic of Tajikistan as part of the International Academy of Engineering (Speaker: President of the Engineering Academy of the Republic of Tajikistan, Vice-President of the International Academy of Engineering, IAE Academician Saidmurodov Lutfillo Khabibulloevich);
– and others.
All speakers approved the activities of the International Academy of Engineering for 2021 – 2025. Member of the Presidential Council of the International Academy of Engineering, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Engineering, IAE and RAE Academician Baksheev Dmitry Semenovich presented to the participants the Resolution of the General Meeting, adopted by those present at the Meeting.
At the General Meeting, there were elected governing and control bodies, full and corresponding members.
The candidates nominated for election, having been approved by the Council of Presidents of the International Engineering Academy, were presented to the attendees of the General Assembly.
Regarding the election of the President, Vice-Presidents, Chief Scientific Secretary, Members of the Presidential Council, Bureau Members, as well as the Chairman and Members of the Academy’s Audit and Revision Commission Vice-President and Chief Scientific Secretary of the Presidium of the National Academy of Engineering in the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenisgul T. Bagasharova;
Regarding the election of full members and corresponding members of the International Academy of Engineering – Chief Scientific Secretary and Academician of the International EAcademy of Engineering Leonid A. Ivanov.
The results of voting using the electronic secret ballot system were reported to those present at the General Meeting by the Chairman of the Counting Commission, Vice-President of the Engineering Academy of the Republic of Tajikistan, IAE Academician Zoidov Kobilzhon Khojievich.
Those present at the General Meeting approved the Minutes of the Counting Commission. By voting results there have been ELECTED:

At the General Meeting, the Assembly of Representatives of the Academy was formed, to which the General Assembly delegated the authority to admit (elect) new Academy members. The Chairman and Members of the Academy’s Audit and Revision Commission were also elected.
Full members and Corresponding Members representing the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Russia have been elected to the International Academy of Engineering.
