General Meeting
International Academy of Engineering
following the outcomes of 2018
On April 26, 2019 in the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin (Moscow, 1, Malaya Kaluzhskaya St.) there was held General meeting of the International Academy of Engineering (IAE) and Russian Academy of Engineering (RAE).
The representatives of the Azerbaijan Academy of Engineering, Armenian Academy of Engineering, Georgian Academy of Engineering, Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan Academy of Engineering, Uzbekistan Engineering Federation, Kazakhstan National Academy of Engineering, Russian Academy of Engineering, IAE Department in Taiwan, IAE Department in Slovenia, IAE Central European Department, IAE Department in Belarus took part in IAE General meeting.
The IAE and RAE President Boris Gusev presented a 2018 summary report “Major outcomes of the International Academy of Engineering and Russian Academy of Engineering for 2018”.
The Head of the IAE Department in Taiwan and IAE Vice-President Jenn Chern Chuang presented a report on “Development and contributions of the IAE Department in Taiwan as the scientific platform for exchanging technologies between Taiwan and Russia over the period of 10 years” as well as on “Tang Prize”.

The Academy elected 31 new members: 12 academicians, 19 corresponding members. The electees represent the Azerbaijan Republic, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, Slovenia, and Taiwan.
We hope that in years ahead the Academy will have more young members in its team.
