In July 2022 the first of the network of regional Offices of the FBA EAC was registered – the European Bureau of the FBA EAC. This organization was created to expand international cooperation in Europe. The Association co-founded the European Bureau. August 1, 2022 a meeting of the Association’s Board took place at the headquarters of the FBA EAC. Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC A.Murychev chaired the meeting. The members of the Board considered a number of issues related to the admission of SLC-Rus (China) to the Association, the opening of a Representative Office of the FBA EAC in Iran, the holding of a meeting of the International Banking Council in November this year, agreed on candidates for the governing bodies for approval at an extraordinary general meeting of the Association members. August 4, 2022 the Supervisory Board of the FBA EAC held a meeting. Member of the Board (Minister) for Economics and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission B.Sagintayev and Chairman of the Board of the International Business Initiative “Lisbon – Vladivostok” U.Schneider. The participants of the meeting discussed topical issues of the development of the Eurasian economic integration, taking into account the expectations of European business, and agreed to continue the dialogue. August 10, 2022 an extraordinary general meeting of the Association’s members took place. August 16, 2022 business negotiations between the leadership of the FBA EAC and representatives of the business community of the Islamic Republic of Iran took place. On the part of the Association, Chairman of the Board A. Murychev; General Director O.Berezovoy; Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC, Director of the Center for International Industrial Cooperation of UNIDO in the Russian Federation S. Korotkov; member of the Association, Director of the Department of Industry and Special Solutions of PROMTEX A.Potarin attended the meeting. August 17 2022 the session “Peculiarities of international cooperation and restoration of trade and economic ties” took place within the framework of the economic forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The session was addressed by a member of the Supervisory Board of the FBA EAC, Vice President – Managing Director of the Department of International Bilateral Cooperation of the RSPP S. Krasilnikov. He noted the increasing importance of trade with Russia’s partners from among the EAEU, SCO, BRICS, Asia-Pacific countries, as well as the importance of multilateral cooperation formats, such as the SCO, which in the future may become an element of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. August 19, 2022 FBA EAC held business negotiations with representatives of Indian business. August 22, 2022 Business negotiations with representatives of African business took place at the headquarters of the FBA EAC. On the African side, N. Bey, First Adviser to the Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Russia, and D. Sebego, Director of SOPAA/AO Sarl, took part in the negotiations. From FBA EAC – Director General O.Berezovoy and Head of the Representative Office in West Africa and Mauritania A.Biryukov.The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects for the development of economic relations and partnership, and the main topic of the meeting was cooperation in the field of food supplies to the African market. August 25, 2022 an expanded meeting of the Australia-Indonesia Business Council took place. The Representative of the FBA in the Australian Union and New Zealand I. Gorbulina attended the meeting. The meeting was devoted to plans for further expansion of international relations between the two countries in the light of the signed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Indonesia and Australia (IA-CEPA). August 25, 2022 a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the IX Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum “Building bridges, not barriers. Business Eurasia in a New Reality”.
19 people attended the meeting from 8 countries: members of the Organizing Committee of the forum, heads of representative offices and committees of the FBA EAC. During the discussion, the format and budget of the Forum, the size of sponsorship packages were determined. August 29, 2022, the representative of the FBA EAC in the Australian Union and New Zealand I.Gorbulina took part in the opening of the Gold Coast Business Week (Gold Coast Business Week 2022). On August 30, 2022 The 2nd meeting of the joint working group on interaction between the EEC and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place. The agenda included discussion of the implementation of joint activities, the intensification of cooperation between the parties on the introduction of simplified customs corridors between the EAEU member states and Uzbekistan, as well as the development of industrial and agro–industrial cooperation between the EAEU countries and Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by a member of the Supervisory Board of the FBA EAC, Vice President – Managing Director of the Department of International Bilateral Cooperation of the RSPP S. Krasilnikov. He spoke on the issue of measures to stimulate business activity between the business circles of the EAEU member states and the Republic of Uzbekistan. On August 30, 2022 an expanded meeting of the Subcommittee on Banks and Banking Activities of the RSPP Committee on Financial Policy was held. The main issue of the meeting was the discussion of the document of the Bank of Russia “Financial market: new challenges in modern conditions”. The Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Banks and Banking, Co-Chairman of the RSPP Committee on Financial Policy, Vice-President of the RSPP, A. Based on the results of the discussion and the received proposals, a draft conclusion of the RSPP on the document of the Bank of Russia will be prepared, which after its consideration by the RSPP Committee on Financial Policy, it will be sent as the official position of the RSPP to the Bank of Russia.
he participants of the meeting also supported the initiative on the expediency of creating a working group in the Subcommittee on monitoring and stimulating the development of the digital rights market in the financial sector. September 15, 2022 a meeting of the FBA EAC Bureau of the Board will take place at 11.00 Moscow time. The meeting will be in a mixed format. The participants will review the draft Regulations on the Bureau of the FBA EAC, discuss the creation of new Committees and current management tasks.
September 27, 2022 a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the IX Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum will take place at 11:00 Moscow time.
September 21-24, 2022 The XIX International Banking Forum “Banks of Russia – XXI century” will take place. The organizer is the Association of Banks of Russia; the venue is Kazan, Russia.
