We inform inform you about the events that took place in the business life of the FBA EAC in October 2021:
On October 1, 2021 A working meeting of the leadership of the FBA EAC with representatives of business in West Africa took place. On the part of the FBA EAC, A.Murychev, Chairman of the Management Board, A. Tkachuk, President, O. Berezovoy, General Director, took part in the negotiations. On October 1, 2021 A meeting was held with the Head of the Representative Office of the FBA EAC in China, E.Bazhov with Paolo Venturini, a famous Italian extreme athlete, who gave an interview to the journal of the Association “Eurasian Financial and Economic Herald”. Mr. Venturini told the readers about his achievements and promising sports projects.

On October 4, 2021 The FBA EAC headquarters hosted the awards ceremony of the Association. For services to the organization and enhancement of the economic potential of the Eurasian countries, as well as for a special contribution to the implementation of the statutory goals of the Association entrepreneur, public activist and philanthropist, Vice-President of the FBA EAC M.Sagalevich was awarded the highest degree of distinction of the Association The badge of honor – the Order of the FBA EAC.

On October 5, 2021 the presentation of the new service of the FBA EAC “Deals Platform” took place in the videoconference mode. The event was attended by the leadership and members of the Association, Chairmen of Committees and heads of Representative Offices of the FBA EAC from Moldova, Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Romania, Great Britain, Finland and a number of African countries. On October 5, 2021 a meeting of the International Banking Council was held. This time the host party was the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (NABU). The meeting was held in a mixed format. The broadcast was conducted from the city of Odessa (Ukraine). The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the IBC, Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC A. Murychev. The meeting was attended by 16 heads of Eurasian banking Associations, including the General Director of the FBA EAC O.Berezovoy.

On October 7, 2021 a scheduled meeting of the President of the FBA EAC was held. The meeting summed up the results of the work for September, discussed the plan for the upcoming month, the preparation of the VIII Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum and the prospects for working on the Deals Platform of the FBA EAC (DP). The meeting for the Vice-Presidents and heads of the committees of the FBA EAC was held by the President of the FBA EAC A.Tkachuk.

On October 8, 2021 a working meeting of the leadership of the FBA EAC with representatives of Indian business took place. On the part of the FBA EAC, A. Murychev – Chairman of the Management Board, A.Tkachuk – President, O. Berezovoy – General Director and M. Sagalevich – the vice president took part in the negotiations.. The business community of India was represented by M.Kumar, CEO of Soltex Group LLC, Member of the Bureau of the Board of the FBA EAC and Nitish Nath, Head of International Sales of GM MODULAR PVT.

On October 12, 2021 the first Franco-Russian business forum “Choiseul Russia” was held: “Russia and France: on the way to a new partnership”. The event was supported by the RSPP, the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCI France Russie, the Observatory analytical center and MGIMO. The Head of the Representative Office of the FA EAC in the French Republic, J. Clausen represented the FBA EAC at the event.

On October 14, 2021 a financial forum of RSPP was held, the theme was “The financial system of Russia: tools for ensuring sustainable economic growth”. A. Murychev, Vice-President of the RSPP, Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC took part in the discussion. Also O.Berezovoy, General Director of FBA EAC represented the Association at the event.

On October 15, 2021 Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on International Leasing V.Sokolov took part in the XXVIII Conference “New Economic Reality”, organized by TCB Investment Partners.
The Conference discussed the impact of the pandemic on the Russian and global economy, as well as trends in financial markets.

On October 19, 2021 there was a meeting of the General Director of the FBA EAC O. Berezovoy with the CEO of the company Selin Mr. Chao Dong Liang, representing a number of Chinese business companies.

On October 19, 2021 the XIV Assembly of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) was held in Moscow. On behalf of the FBA EAC, the Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC A. Murychev and the General Director of the FBA EAC O.Berezovoy took part in the work of the ICIE Assembly.

On October 20, 2021 A meeting of the Association’s management with representatives of the business community of the United Arab Emirates took place at the FBA EAC headquarters on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment, 17. During the meeting, issues of interaction between large UAE businesses and Russian partners were discussed.

On October 21, 2021 the International Scientific and Technical Symposium “Modern Engineering Problems of Key Industries” was held at the site of the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University within the framework of the III International Kosygin Forum “Modern Problems of Engineering Sciences”. On behalf of the FBA EAC, the event was attended by General Director O. Berezovoy and member of the FBA EAC Y. Fedorov.

On October 27-28, 2021 The 2nd International PLUS-Forum “Fintech without Borders. Digital Eurasia” was held in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The Forum participants discussed such topical topics as overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus crisis, further change of priorities in the payment industry; projects of digital currencies of central banks (CBDC); transformation of banking business; new business models of acquiring; ecosystem economics; remote identification; best practices of retail banking; interaction of banking and retail and many others.
The Associated partner of the Forum was the Financial and Business Association of Eurasian Cooperation (FBA EAC), and one of the Information Partners was the journal Eurasian Financial and Economic Herald.
In the near future, the following events will take place in the life of the FBA EAC:
On November 2, 2021, a meeting of the President of the FBA EAC with the heads of Representative Offices will be held. The event will be held in videoconference mode on the ZOOM platform.
In November 2021, we continue to accept applications for participation in the Competition for the award of the International Public Award “Business Elite of Eurasia”.

In November 2021, the project of the Photo Contest “The World through the eyes of an artist” continues, FBA EAC invites amateur photographers to take part in the competition and become its finalist. The results of the competition will be summed up in November 2021. On November 18, 2021, at 10.00 Moscow time, the VIII Moscow International Annual Financial and Economic Forum will be held.
The topic of the Forum is “Building bridges, not barriers. Business Eurasia in a New Reality”.
The Format of the Forum is mixed: offline and online, the languages of the forum are: Russian, English, French.
The program includes a plenary session and panel sessions:
- Digitalization of industry – a transition to a new era of industrialization;
- Monetary and financial support of cross-border partnership;
- Transport and logistics corridors – the infrastructure framework of the great Eurasian partnership.
